I don't think people who currently hold trusts should panic. You still have nice returns for four years and by then the voters may throw Flaherty's ass out the door. Typical over reaction IMHO.

Thanks for the info on the Canadian Trusts,
I am suffering my biggest loss in a day,
I am retired and put most of my cash into them for the divies.
From what I see today looks like I lost 50k +.
I guess my flight to safety fell apart.
Gonna put my wife to work.
I have no choice but to sit on the sidelines and hope they reverse the situation.
