I think he's just razzing us again, like last time he seemed to be confusing us. I never did finish that doctorate after 8 years of too much teaching and not enough writing, or more accurately, not enough writing that I was supposed to be doing. I'm allowed to say I am Ph.D. (ABD), where ABD stands for, wait for it, All But Dissertation. I did complete a heap of coursework, the comprehensive exams (write 6 15-page papers in a week), and three half-dissertations, but three halves don't add up to one whole in this case... LC
