Kerry in 2003 stated that the invasion would be the easy part and that "winning the peace" was what mattered. But that woiuld take tough diplomacy work and coalition building.

The news the other day was that Saddam had agreed to all of Bush's demands before the invasion, but Bush ignored it and invaded anyway. The fact is, this war was totally unnecessary and wrong. It was also very poorly planned. Just amazing that Bush didn't take the time to learn more about Iraq before he invaded, not even knowing the difference between the Sunnis and Shia. That was the substance of Kerry's botched joke. And Kerry is right, but it's not laughing matter.

Boy did Kerry get it right, huh? So no wonder Bushies are dishonestly smearing him. They fear the truth. So they take a gaffe and try to promote it as a deliberate statement. How dishonest can the GOP get? Very dishonest. They really have no ethics whatsoever.
