This factual rant should be made public and be adopted by QCOM's PR dept; and made known also to the EU basically calling their bluff and calling them a bully, having to retalliate and squeeze american companies ecause their own companies cant legitimately compete.. QCOM should tell them enough is enough, didnt QCOM already line the pockets of the EU govt with the new auctions of spectrum based only on CDMA technology. The ONLY sure winner of all of QCOM's endeavors have been the EU govt with their pocketing of billions of dollars. Too bad QCOM hasnt profited as much at the EU govt. This should be made known, out loud and clear.

For the sake of all Q shareholders, I sure hope you are right. I am just an unsophisticated individual investor. I do long term buy and hold, a method of investing that has been out of favor with the younger crowd who wants to make a fast buck and get out. I have been holding nearly 10,000 shares of QCOM since around mid 1998. I have seen the good and the bad days. The steady downhill ride after the bubble burst was very painful. I never thought a fine growth company like Q would have taken such a beating.

I have been looking forward to the time when WCDMA got onto the fast track and QCOM's stock price along with it. To paraphrase IJ.... no mater what you call it WCDMA is CDMA and we will get royalty payments for it. But here we are with the EU and NOK holding us down with their socialist, anti-everything not EURO, attitude.

Qualcomm is a great company. Well managed and run by people with great honesty and integrity. It's a crime of great magnitude that the EU is able to play such a one sided game on behalf of the selfish interests of their constituants. If the U.S. took the same sort of actions and retaliated against European companies the way the EU does against American companies, the entire of Europe could bend over and kiss their ass goodby. Without the the U.S. as a marketplace for overpriced European goods of falsely perceived high quality, Europe's economy would disintegrate.

I sure hope our day in the sun is coming pretty soon. I for one am very tired of seeing gray clouds and rain every day. All the faithful such as myself deserve to be rewarded for staying the course.

I have absolutely no doubt the the EU will screw Qualcomm on behalf of he POS 6. Europe can't compete on a level playing field so they have to fiddle with the rules so that their competition loses the game. That is to say, Europe has to cheat to win, because they can't cut it.

Sorry for the rant, but I am just so F*&%^'n mad I needed to blow off some steam.
