That comment makes things much worse. Not only do I understand that the education level of the average troop is above that of the average american H.S. graduate, but your comment is an appropriate defense for a Senator who HAD declared our troops as stupid. Of course, Kerry's words DID imply that and could not possibly be misinterpreted as they were what they were (though I'm sure he didn't mean it that way). Do YOU mean it that way? You seem to definitely defend what Kerry in his own weak way, has otherwise smartly distanced himself from. Dan B.
