Cantwell was smart enough to become a millionaire quickly after she was defeated by Rick White in my Cong District in 1994. Then, she was smart enough to defeat Slade Gorton for the US Senate - not an easy feat. She was smart enough to take on big oil and smart enough to wallup Mike McGavick this time.
