Well, tom, this is only about politics. In the worst sense.

Kerry let himself get outmanuevered and his Dem colleagues are saying to him, behind the screen, to do whatever it takes to get it off the front page. Think of this as not about substance or character but about language skills and the ability to manipulate the symbols. Kerry simply lacks it. Bush and Rove have it.

That's what our politics have become. Well, at least for a couple of news cycles. With this one.

It's a beautiful thing -the republicans gave all those democrats a chance to be upstanding about the military. They're probably against the adventure in Iraq at this point, but this gives them the opportunity to show they love and respect our service people. I happen to think it will help all of them - and no one minds dumping on John Kerry, I betcha.

As I keep saying, the republicans are doing every thing they can to help the Dems this November. Thanks again! It's appreciated.
