MJ I got fed up with SUNW---------after several years of waiting for a turn in SUNW realized just how much time and $ I was wasting. Thus-------cleared my humble position and have moved on.

Your initial thoughts were wise, but you moved on and invested in SGI an extremely unwise move.

If I understand the announcement from MSFT regarding ther partnership with Novell Suse Linux then it is a good move for both Microsoft and Novell and bad for Oracle and Red Hat. But Suse runs Oracle so I really wonder how this benefits Microsoft. I believe it might be a negative for SUNW. Can anyone contribute?
