This will change the way that money is managed by large portfolio managers. Over the past few years one could get a 10%+ annual rate of return by just being in the trust market. Now one has to take more risk in part of the portfolio in order to generate the same rate of return after inflation. Managers will again look for beta and that should mean metals and energy.
