Appears that Cingular has beat VZN / Sprint to the punch with Cellular Music service and has covered most if not all the bases.

Although the Cingular service does seem significantly more extensive (most notably the support for side-loading of DRM'ed content), Verizon and Sprint have been offering over-the-air downloads of music for quite some time now (fairly overpriced at $2.5-3 per download).

The most glaring omission in the Cingular service is the inability to download subscription tracks over the air. Subscription services allow unlimited access to the entire catalog of music for a flat monthly fee, but thus far, they've required you to download to your computer. From there, you can transfer to compatible portable players. In theory, a 3G phone that could access the subscription tracks directly over the air would provide a true "celestial jukebox," with no incremental cost.

Sprint and Verizon both launched over the air music down load services some time ago.
