Look... it's like this. One does the best one can at any given moment according to the lights one has acquired at the moment. Win Lose Draw... you do the Best.

You have the greatest thing going in the world for you. You Love!

Don't look back to criticise yourself... look back only to learn.

It's like the market... we get out and don't look back. Get out with a loss or a profit and don't criticize ourselves. We do the best we can at the moment. So... you could have held and 'made more' - so what, you have cash, you can invest in another item, and profit there. What good does it do to look back except to learn from it. Kicking yourself only serves to do nothing in the learning experience. (but create depressing ugliness inside)

It's obvious you love your son. You are as ManyMoose said - a Good Dad.

Heck.. your son has a Dad... who is involved, who cares. Another good thing I read is that you are raising him to care for himself and make good judgements in the long run.. in other words...you are willing for him to stand alone and not live your life by directing his or through his, but by supporting him into becoming and setting free, a strong individual..

What more could he ask for... he has you at his back... and one day... you will have him at yours!!
