Photovoltaic works NOW - cold fusion has NEVER worked. It's a "faith based" technology - just the cup of tea for a neocon who thinks Iraq was worthwhile!

Actually, solar arrays are very durable. Since there are no moving parts, solar arrays typically have a VERY long useful life. I would bet my eyetooth that a solar farm would cost far less to maintain than the current electicity producing plants including nuclear.
