If Khatami can be arrested in the UK for torture, how does British Prime Minister Tony Blair escape arrest for the torture of Afghans and Iraqis by coalition forces?

Because it didn't happen. That was an easy one.

Perhaps Americans don't notice, but the rest of the world does see the double standard applied when Saddam Hussein is put on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity, while US, UK, and Israeli government officials commit far greater crimes by illegally invading countries, targeting civilian populations, and torturing detainees.

<<Greater crimes>> -- come on Chris you're pulling my leg with that cut and paste.

Perhaps you and "the rest of the world" as they say, needs to review the video coverage of those two despicable spawns of Saddam and the "peaceful religion" -- Uday and Cussay? Just cool muslim boys with anger issues, I suppose.

It's all in what you are reared to admire. Nevertheless, let those two despot martyrs serve as a benchmarks and the operational definitions for the peaceful sons of islam. Fair enough?
