P-L-E-A-S-E! (You don't think the Iraqis are getting active Iranian support? Even after all the British and American reports making exactly that claim?) Didn't it ever enter your mind that people over there might --- just might --- want to, er... take advantage of Uncle Sucker for as long as humanly possible? And that the Islamic Republic of Iran is sitting back and grinning like the Cheshire Cat right about now, having emerged as perhaps the clearest winner from the changed political conditions in the entire region (with, perhaps, the emerging Republic of Kurdistan as the secondary beneficiary... so long as they can parlay American support into keeping the Turks from rolling down on them --- as they have already threatened --- like a ton 'o bricks. :-)
