I agree that SUNW is marching after IBM. They are also competing with DELL, and HPQ. I know they have Solaris and it will play nicely with Linux but I do not know if that is a game breaker for them to be considered a leader in hardware and services.

I see a day where either SAP, ORCL, MSFT or IBM can offer a complete software package to run application for large enterprises. Much like what MSFT did for the PC. At that point, the hardware basically becomes a commodity. I do not invest in commodities products. So, tell me how SUNW is going to differentiate themselves from Dell, HPQ and especially IBM.
