Too much hype<g> and that is only on the total GDP. It would take at least another 100 years for China to take over Japan or the US in terms of per capita GDP

Great refutation of some of the stuff printed about US consumer
pullback imploding China and Indian economies.

Saw this yesterday on 321Gold right below Stephan Roach 'The Fallacy of Global
Decoupling'

Read both and look carefully at Phillips charts showing China
and India relatively independent of US, but Hong Kong and Singapore
pretty dependent.

Its a multi-sided very big question and I side with J.Kaiser etc,
though I admit it can go either way.
