I think I got very, very lucky with GPXM. I have had the stock on my watchlist for more than a year, but did not see a reason to buy. It was not until I flew down to visit the mine last month that I realized how strong that project is. I have had the chance to meet with all of the senior management, and they are good people. I know there were some problems in the past with some characters that could have buggered up a two-car parade, but the guys in place now look very capable of building a company. So it was luck more than anything else that I did my buying last week and am now positioned to ride this one higher. Over the next few months, I think things are going to start happening very fast. The mill is in excellent condition, and the underground development at the mine is complete to allow for at least a year of production. So they are gradually ramping up shipments of high grade ore, and should start to generate revenues within a few weeks. The positive cash flow from operations will attract new investors and allow the stock to run, and it will help to fund additional development and exploration work to build a longer life mineral inventory for the mine. Moly is a hot commodity, and there are not very many producing moly projects controlled by juniors to choose from. GPXM runs the highest grade moly project on the planet, but they also control a past producing gold mine too, so there is leverage to both sectors. Go to the company website to get up to speed on what is going on. It is possibly the best website of any junior mining company. These guys definately get it, and understand how important it is to keep shareholders in the loop.golden-phoenix.com I think the bottom has been put in for GPXM, and that the next few months could easily see the stock double again, and perhaps even hit $1. As always, remember that these are my opinions only, as an investor, and I do not issue buy/sell recommendations. cheers! mike Personal disclosure: I own just 10K of GPXM, and a few hundred shares of JV partner WEX. My direct travel expenses to visit the mine were paid for by the company, but I have no promotional relationship with them, and I do not receive any form of compensation whatsoever to express my opinion.
