I didn't take the train this trip, I had to drive.

I understand there is a train that goes through Canada towards Vancouver. Supposed to be fantastic. You can stop at assorted hotels along the way.

When I took mine it was through New York into Canada. Very relaxing, very enjoyable. I'd like to take the Trans Canadian someday. I've friends who have and each recommended it highly.

Yeah, don't get too carried away with the price of gold as it moves along from day to day. You might even try just monitoring once in the morning and once at night. I did that last Spring, just tinkering here and there once in awhile and did fine.

Takes the emotional attachment away to some degree.

You won't be able to daytrade, but you can do that once in awhile if you think it's at a point where some Resistance is coming in or an overbought/oversold area is at hand.
