Thats why I posted the other side, it is multi-faceted.
Don't think Roach has been right for some time on this.

But that is talking 43% of GROWTH of world GDP, PPP based.

But base metals cannot even supply the present demand, almost
as much tonnage is running out as new coming on.

The growth can come down some, and US can have zero growth
without affecting base metal demand. US consumes 10% of world
Zinc, Asia 55%. US is expected to use .1%-.2% more next yr if
econ ok. So what if they only use the same, or a little less.
It just ain't material.

A 5% growth in a developing economy that uses much more metal
for infrastructure uses approx 15% more Cu, etc.

Would help to read the Metal reports by such as UBS, RBC, Std Bank.
