"In NH-2, Hodes Leads Bass by Eight

In New Hampshire's 2nd congressional district, a new WMUR/University of New Hampshire poll finds Paul Hodes (D) has pulled ahead of Rep. Charlie Bass (R-NH), 45% to 37%.

Key finding: "Democrats in the 2nd District are highly motivated and this is a tremendous advantage for Hodes. Among voters who say they are extremely interested in the election, Hodes leads 68% to 23% . He also leads by 50% to 37% among voters who say they will definitely vote."

Meanwhile, in the state's 1st congressional district, Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-NH) is also facing a stronger than expected challenge from political newcomer Carol Shea-Porter (D). Bradley leads 47% to 42%."
