I don't think so. I've never known a speculator to take delivery of tons of zinc. Speculators trade futures, but they don't take delivery, as they don't have the warehouses and infrastructure for that and the holding costs would be prohibitive. Do you have any evidence at all to support your suspicion? Have you ever heard of a speculator taking delivery of thousand of tons of zinc (or hundreds of thousands in this case)? No, I don't have a 10-year lme chart off hand, but I think I may have seen one before...
