I understand John. Millions of investors and pros are trying to figure out this type of thing and beat the others in timing entry and exit. I don't expect to beat the pros at global prediction. I learn what I can of the vast flow of info, and try to place the big picture. Then I ignore the day to day and spend all the time on knowing the company intimately, meeting CEO a number of times, thinking about the local details and problems, watching chart and the trading all day relying on a few simple TA factors that I think have some relevance. The key is knowing early on you are in a bull mkt, buying decent picks, holding for years. That makes it easy. Just help me a bit with a PM when the bull is over ........................That is the hard part.
