I guess in the perspective of position opposition seems like that to everyone, then. I personally don't see Kerry and others as disloyal America haters, but I certainly think they are so wrong on the issues and so clueless about the function of the military and other federal powers that they must be stopped. Is he the best that the Democrats can come up with? Gore? Leiberman would be a tough match for the Republicans, but he seems to have been rejected by the Democrats. Democrats are the originators of the tactics that you are complaining about starting way back in the flower children days of the sixties and seventies. Republicans were out of power then, and Democrats were the target of the flower children, who eventually took over the party and continue their methods directed against the Republicans. Look at Kerry himself. In 1972 he hardly looked or acted like a military officer, let alone a candidate for high office, yet he got an expensive haircut and continues his methods to this day.
