KIS -

It makes no difference whether a jewelry store does or does not make more money than an Apple Store. The Apple Stores are a fantastic success. They sell a whole lot of iPods, iPod accessories, computers, software, and computer accessories. Same store sales continue to increase even as new stores are opened.

As measured by the standard of the retail industry, sales per square foot, Apple Stores are far more successful than other electronics stores, and indeed, most other retail stores.

I have an idea. When you have something to say that isn't based on something under-ripe you just had for lunch, or a knee-jerk negative response to any positive comment about Apple, why don't you speak up then?

In the meantime, perhaps you could just spare us all.

- Allen

Uh, everyone knows the markup on jewelry is over 100% at a minimum.

Oh yeah? Not according to Paul of the Diamond Center.

I have a friend in the diamond business, you see, therefore I know these things.
