Wimpy, Bush said "we are trying to destroy America", refering to himself, along with the terrorists. He actually said that on TV. Colmes played it last night on Fox News. did you see it?

So by GOP logic, that Bush gaffe should be taken as a serious statement, thereby proving Bush is a traitor in league with terrorists trying to destroy America. This also applies to the phony GOP claim that Kerry made a freudian slip. Bush would then also secretly be trying to destroy America.

Also, if Kerry's apology is not accepted, then we can't accept Cheney's apology for blasting a guy in the face while drunk, and he should be arrested for attempted murder. right?

There can't be double standards on gaffes and apologies.
