All election fraud is on the rightwing in recent elections. Thre was a recent official study which resulted in a front page article, you might have seen it. It concluded that GOP claims of voter fraud like the Acorn stuff you're talking about, is practically non-existent and totally insignificant.

But the Rove Diebold Jeb Bush type fraud has actually swung two presidential elections in a row, and we are talking about as many as 350,000 votes stolen in Ohio 2004 and Florida 2000 alone, plus many other swing states.

What you are really talking about here are some low income people who make up fake voter registration claims because they get paid $1 per name. This practice was also used by Schwartzeneggar and the GOP to get the special election held. They sent out people to get signatures for $1 a name. But some of these street workers would write up a few phony names just to buy themselves an extra sixpack or something. It's really smalltime stuff and will have no significant at the polls whatsoever. Mainly because the fake voters don't even exist. So how can they vote? Anyway, both parties use this to gather signatures and sign up new voters. But it's not a perfect process.
