AS, the problem is that the neocons use the military as a tool to safeguard their assets and to push forth their agenda by force. The military recruiting approach of the past 4 years, are such that they are recruiting those who are high school droputs, have failing grades etc. etc., Giving them a accelerated boot camp training and sending them to Iraq. That is the truth. Why is it so difficult for Americans to digest the fa c t the the Bush-Cheny team have reduced to military personnel to such a state. In the past good people joined the military, when they retired they were some of the best people to join the civilian work force. That has been lost with the military of today. Instead it is all hot air: the President flying onto the deck of the aircraft carrier (to show what a macho man he is!!!); hanging the Mission Accomplished sign (Gosh, these people are not aware that you never sell wine before it is time) etc.
