"Per capita consumption of commodities in China will never catch up with the West. "

Geeeeze. Not only is no one is saying that it will, but it's likely physically imposssible to produce enough metal for that to happen. It's that the per capita consumption in China is starting from such a low point, and there are so many Chinese, metal consumption is likely going higher from here.

<< I have seen some junior mining companies listed on AMEX have a stock price of $1 or so for a long time. So AMEX lising does not mean much unless they have some solid good news, and then some institutions will buy it as an investment. >>

Sure, but have you ever seen a junior mining company with one of the largest zinc projects in the world and lots of institutional and international investor interest waiting for Amex listing get listed during a breakout of zinc to all-time highs as LME zinc stocks quickly head toward zero? Management's international road trip coincides very well with the Amex listing, as all those institutions they're meeting with will now be able to invest in one of the few late-stage, world-class zinc projects in the world.

Many people wouldn't touch Metalline because it was on the bulletin board, which is the main reason it was so ridiculously undervalued. This Amex listing is very unique because of the situation.

Hello RML,

"Believe it or not, plenty of infrastructure construction is due to 2008 Olympic Game, not just in Beijing, but in Tianjin, Shanghai, even QingDao of Shandong Province... So after 2008, there will be no more hype."

I agree, and assume this is a green light for commodities for all of 07. After 07, I don't know.

As for MMGG, might I ask why you bought it before?

Thanks
TH
