The WOT, though is a different thing. IMO, we're confusing terms. Iraq, the nation as it was, is defeated; but to say that we can defeat all our enemies IN Iraq would be a whole new question, and to imply that terrorists in Iraq are the only limit to the current war just doesn't take the facts into account.<<

Not by my standard. Are you proposing an alternate one? If so, let's hear it.

By the way, I didn't imply that terrorist in Iraq are the only limit to the current war. In fact, I provided a list of various enemies we have in Iraq, including Baathist sympathizers who would like to see Saddam Hussein returned to power among many other factions.

I think confusing the war in Iraq with the greater war on terrorism is one of the biggest mistakes Bush and his followers make. It's really both simplistic and misleading.
