Someone comes up and sucker punches you or hits you from behind, it's all out war so far as I'm concerned. If it's a face off, the other kid is getting up the courage to hit and you can dodge it and walk off, chances are he's not going to come after you. At least that was my experience growing up.<g> Times have changed and kids have gotten more aggressive. I have gone to the mat with my kids for defending them selves on several ocassions and it still just amazes me that the administration believes that somehow it's not their right to do so.
