Newsweek brand new poll: 19% lead for democrats nationally and 35% approvals for Bush. 65% disapproval with the direction of the country. 16% favor democrats in their own district.

These numbers are close to the highs for Dems and lows for GOP and they are are improvement for Dems since before Kerry's botched joke was made an issue of.

Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanon, both Republicans, just said this has the makings of the perfect storm against the rightwing GOP. If Dems can win in Missouri, where Bush may have just hurt Jim Talent by showing up, the Senate changes hands.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were condemning Haggard, I thought you were defending the rightwing crook. I get used to you doing that, or at least refusing to condemn any of them. But no matter, looks like the country has already made up its mind.
