Let’s call the bluff. US go into localized recession and the world will de-couple.

Of course the US can play wayo. It can concoct a “security” situation under which the rest of the world can be persuaded to keep the US humming along by thinking: We need a policeman for the world and the policeman’s economy is important to have that policeman equipped.
