Using the iPod for recording classroom lectures:

My son and DIL are taking some college courses, and I was considering iPods to help them record lectures and take notes.

Does anyone have any experience with using the iPod to record classroom lectures? If so, and you liked it, do you have any recommendations on which iPod to use, and what accessories?

(I was looking at xTreme Mac Micromemo, iTalkPro, and Belkin Tune Talk)

When I have information that directly affects Apple I will happily post it. Until that time I will read the thread in hopes of finding information that can influence my purchasing decisions of both products and stock.

In the mean time I can only request some form of civility and not feed any unnecessary blather.
