Just goes to show you that it's always possible for more than one person to reach the wrong conclusion about something.

BTW, nobody I know of has ever suggested that Saddam wouldn't have built nukes if he had had the knowledge, the scientific expertise, the very complex and very hard-to-procure equipment, the fissionable materials, and the time to do so. Just like nobody I know of ever suggested just leaving Saddam alone to do as he pleased instead of invading Iraq. Two classic strawman arguments.

Good thing he never even came close to having all those pieces to put together. Too bad Iran does, and too bad they've been putting those pieces together while we were messing around stamping out fires next door.
