Sigh! Read the ISG report, then try to credibly make those baseless assertions. When you finish that, I'll give you even more links that utterly destroy the DNC/MSM Talking Points you parrot that have no basis in fact or reality. Saddam had the scientists. Saddam had critical equipment. Saddam attempted to purchase yellowcake (there's only one reason why he did that). Saddam made illegal equipment purchases while he was "boxed in" by sanctions. He paid for it by stealing UN monitored OFF funds. Then he blamed the US for allowing Iraqi children to starve. etc., because he used those OFF funds to improve his WMD programs, buy illegal weapons, bribe the UN, France, Russia, Germany & China, plus build those palaces. Now we find out Saddam kept the know how to build them in a year or so. All of this was done under the noses of the UN Inspectors. All of this was done in egregious violation of the Cease Fire Agreement. All of this was done so that Saddam could resume production of WMD's the minute the sanctions & inspections regimes ended.
