Perhaps you can help shed some light on this discussion? I know damn good and well that Marines aren't dumb. Why is their education level lower than other services?

I also have a nephew (bright also) who tells me he is enlisting the Marine Corps the first day he is eligible. His father is an Annapolis grad and former Marine officer. Now between you and me, what point has been made.....?
