What point is that? That dying is okay.


What a silly statement.

Deaths of innocent people is bad. Deaths of non-innocent people can also be bad. But the relative number is important. If the violent death rate is worse than any city in the US, but comparable to the worst neighborhoods and much less than most civil wars that something that we should know. Now maybe the death rate has gone up since that post was from August, but it does serve to show how, as bad as things are in Iraq, that they still can be, and probably are, exaggerated by many who are against the war.
