Unfortunately it is "just politics".

It was an excellent post and I agree with your position that Webb is a better
candidate.

I love Jim Webb's books, and agreed with him on everything but going into Iraq until he ran this awful campaign. Knowing what he thinks of Kerry, it must have been terrible to have to meet and schmooze him. Looks like he will lose. If he wins, the Senate Dems will have to swallow hard at his positions. We haven't had this conservative a Dem since the old segregation days.
