The sad think is...Ted is that you're too young, blind and naive to see the light. <G> This is such a stupid comment I won't even begin to address it. It's gut wrenching to think that the Dems even have a clue. It is quite disturbing that you can say that after six years of administration under the current GOP. For the past 25 years, the GOP has been very good at raising doubts and criticizing the Dems, all the time claiming they could do it better. The occasional Dem. faux pas helped solidify those doubts. But in 2000, the GOP were given the chance to prove themselves........they controlled the two houses and the presidency. No one could get in their way and screw it up for them. In spite of that huge advantage.....they have made a horrible mess of things. When historians look back at this time, it will be considered one of the more destructive periods in this country's history. And it will take years to clean up the mess. We'll see though. Maybe they will straighten out the illegal problem and balance the budget to boot! Without new taxes! You're joking I hope. If they manage to straighten up the budget crisis without raising taxes, it will be a miracle. The GOP has so porked its way through the past six years that there is fat growing on the fat. I agree with JF and CJ...we need a third party if for no other reason than to break up this dance where the GOP makes a mess of things and then the Dems have to come in and raise taxes to clean up and correct the mess.....in the end getting blamed by the GOP for raising taxes: zfacts.com
