Spending is only a bad thing if it's wasteful spending. Smart spending can be a very good idea. It's called investment. If you spend $1 now to save $3 later that's smart, not wasteful, But much of the Bushie spending has been very wasteful. Including the entire war in Iraq, the entire cost of which is debt spending and never added to Bush's official budget and deficit numbers. That in itsself is very deceitful Enron style accounting.

LOL...Brumar, do you realize that this Republican controlled government has raised discretionary spending MORE than any government since the mid-60's??
