I have seen that information on the Scandinavians. It's interesting data. I look forward to the day when people in this country realize it doesn't matter what kind of adult you love- it's much more important that you treat your life partner well, and that you love them in the best and fullest way you can (something impossible to do if you are acting against your nature). I can't imagine how painful it must be to have to pretend your whole sexual life and identity is other than it is, because you think you have to do that to get to heaven, or be accepted by your community.

I know a lot of people are angry at this pastor for his hypocrisy, and some people even seem to enjoy his downfall because he was such a hypocrite. I'm saddened by the harm he has caused other gay people by perpetuating the kind of beliefs that obviously damaged him so much, but I certainly also feel a lot of compassion for this man who will probably never know peace and love, since I doubt he will ever be able to accept his sexuality. Imagine never being able to be comfortable about your sexual fantasies and identity! I don't think many of us can imagine being that tortured. It's very very sad- and all the more sad because it is so unnecessary.
