Kerry is the #1 defender of veterans rights in the Senate. He has never wavered from that. He was the first to demand body-armor in Iraq. Bush sent our troops into Iraq without proper armor, reinforcements or planning. Bush also slashed veterans health benefits, including for wounded Iraq vets. Kerry wrote The Veterans Bill Of Rights which you should check out before you go lying about his botched joke. Kerry's joke was accurate as a stinging exposure of Bush not reading his history lessons before he got our military stuck in Iraq.
