I'd like more specific info for your statement below. And use other search engines other than google...dogpile, metacrawler, etc. In fact, go to google and type in "search engines"... THERE ARE MANY! I want to see specifically 2 or 3 different reliable references for your statement, and the person who wrote each one. If you can't provide anything, perhaps your data is faulty. Americans have given more money, food, aid, etc than ANY other country on this planet. No other countries are even close to the US record.... This was your statement: However, let me recount just one horrible incident. Vice-President Nixon (under Prez Eisenhower) once ordered surplus American wheat to be incinerated rather than be given to India to help it alleviate a famine. Result: more than a million Indians died of famine. Why was Nixon so heartless? Simply because India at the time was perceived to be leaning towards the commuinist Soviet Union. And yet, in ignorance, many Americans have been fond of boasting, "America NEVER closed its breadbasket to the world." LOL !!!
