Was he that young? Then Dirty Dozen must not have been his first film. He was 32 when he retired. "The Dirty Dozen" was his second film. imdb.com He played 9 seasons. Six of them were 12 game seasons, and his last 3 were 14 games. He still holds the record for yards gained per carry.

I'm not sure which was his first, but I do remember him in "100 Rifles" with Raquel Welch and "The Grasshopper" with Jacqueline Bisset.
