right. the stock market will love the end of the dividend and capital gains tax breaks that are scheduled to expire.

I also think the market is going higher but because Turd Blossom will have stolen another election.

I like to look at real data.

If Dems sweep and or if Dems take the house it is my opinion that Mkt. will probably lose 2% the following day if not more. You are right it is not priced into the mkt, adn the bullish surveys(below) prove this.

Let's take three measures of investor sentiment: the polls of the American Association of Individual Investors, Investors Intelligence, and Market Vane. What we find across all three is that more than 50% of survey participants are bullish on the stock market. That is very SCARY as a inverse indicator if you ask me.

Going back to 1987 in all of those polls or 1006 weeks; the we only find 86 weekly periods in which this has been the case.
