Nice try, John - and that was on Nov 10, a year ago by now. But I was talking about the dem's election campaign up towards the upcoming call for votes and not what they couldn't push through against the GOP majority a year ago. That's exactly IMO evidence of the opposite of having guts. By not taking their stance from back then all way to the voters when they are asked to cast their vote now on Nov 7 a year later, the dem party most likely dropped a golden opportunity to come out as the big winners.
