If your condo has gone back down in price to what it was back in 2000, what about that house she sold?

My condo might might sell for 10% less than I could have gotten in 2000. Her house might sell for what she sold it for. I'd guess it never changed much in value over the last six years. It may have gone for a little more three years ago. Now it likely would just sit for sale.

Now about them young-uns what has not been born yet. I bet if you and the missus had a big Texas Size Ranch then them kids would just be begging there parents in a few years to spend the summers down on the Ranch with the ponies, etc. etc. Your wife could watch them while their parents were vacationing down in FL. And you could get one of them big-screen TVs to watch TO on too. I think you could get the whole package for less than what that lil condo is going for now. but if you keep waiting, it is not necessarily going get any better up there.


We are probably going to buy lake property here and stay in a hotel or rent whenever we go on vacation. There's no hurry to buy vacation properties. They'll be cheaper in a few years. We're still waiting to buy here because there haven't been any decent new lake properties listed in the last few months. Normally, they get listed in the late winter.
