We don't need an antique book to teach ethics. It's a natural result of using common sense. All the so-called "holy books" are merely ancient historical annals written without any divine inspiration. Haggard will need to find a way to forgive himself. That's why it's always unwise to set up ones self as a paragon of virtue. Evidently the apple becomes ever more difficult to resist, the more self-righteous a human becomes. Although, it's beyond me why the same sex is ever attracted to one another. If nature was neutral on that subject, the creator would not have bothered to design two extremely complicated and unique human physiques.
