I can't explain it - nor am I trying to look like some tough guy. It just killed me to walk away. I'd rather get my head beat in and that happened a few times. I never walked away from a friend - never. It alwasy pissed my dad off (he was superintendent) that I'd step into a conflict that wasn't mine to protect a buddy or a kid that was being pushed around because he was weak. I almost got in real trouble one time because I lowered the boom on a guy in gym class but the coach knew me and liked me so he said he didn't see anything. I could have been suspended...again LOL. Anyhow - he caught me in the hall and said he wasn't done with me. He said the weight room needed some work so he had my move all the free weights across the room. I finished and he came down and said "this looks great!" "Now move them all back where they were"

LMAO....I saw him about 5 years ago and we were laughing about it and I called him a bastard. "He said watch it! I can still make you move the room"

LOL - I loved that guy - he was a guys guy. He'd let the kids fight it out. He was the football coach and he told me that if I coached someday that I should run practice until the guys start to fight - thats when you know you've both worked them hard and gotten them jacked up to play.
