"Ignoring that fact isn't reasonable." Oh, I agree. Ignoring significant facts just isn't reasonable. (Such as the equally true fact that there are currently SEVERAL 'armies' comprised of Iraqi natives operating in 'Iraq' now... up to a dozen Shiite armed militias, 'insurgent' Sunni forces predominately made-up of ex-Iraqi military, 'jihadists' of various stripes - some foreign, some not, etc. And many of the armies of Iraqis are warring against each other over the future of their lands and over competition for the wealth of their lands, and several other reasons, ethnic, tribal, religious.)
